Abstract : | Debate, dialogue and decision-making process are the basic principles of democracy, which express the free will. The process in which a citizen would affect as an unbiased individual the governance of his country, is the right to vote. Through the voting process,the citizen usually expresses his intention in choosing a president, prime minister or mayor. Further he is using the voting process for less important issues, such as the election of academic institution committee. The casting of vote in our country is performed by the traditional way, i.e. using paper ballots and it is also a legal obligation. The voting procedures shall comply with fundamental principles of elections; which are: universal, equal, secret, direct and free suffrage. All citizens have the right to vote provided they fulfill certain requirements (e.g. to be adults), while all voters suppose to have equal voting rights. Each vote cast in the election shall not be counted more than once and is kept secret without altered its content. Also everyone has the right to vote what he desires without being influenced or coerced by someone else.
