Abstract :	Διαχείριση πλούτου για ένα Ultra high Net Worth Individual δηλαδή για ένα άτομο με προσωπική περιουσία τουλάχιστον άνω των 30 εκατομμυρίων ευρώ, με βιώσιμες επενδύσεις και πρακτική και απλά παραδείγματα με τη μορφή κεφαλαίων που ακολουθούν δείκτες (index funds). Σε αυτή την περίπτωση εξέτασης το UHNWI είναι ένας πλοιοκτήτης, όπου η βασική εργασία του είναι στη ναυτιλία, είτε ασχολείται με εμπορευματοκιβώτια, είτε έιναι σε δεξαμενόπλοια είτε είναι σε πλοία ξηρού φορτίου, αναλύοντας το πλούτο του και σε βάθος, με εναλλακτικές επενδύσεις όπως είναι η κτηματομεσιτική αγορά, σε πολύ απλή μορφή αλλα με καλή προσέγγιση ως προς τις υποθέσεις. Χρησιμοποιείται επίσης ο παράγοντας της διαφοροποίησης με τη βιωσιμότητα τόσο στο παρόν όσο και σε πιθανά αποτελέσματα που μπορεί να έχει στο μέλλον. The purpose of this thesis is to point out the importance the ESG factors and the sustainableinvestments in the stock exchange markets. To achieve that and match the Master requirementsand theme of shipping, we chose to bring out the importance of ESG investments for ashipowner that is a high net worth individual or a very high net worth individual that has capitalto make an impact. The thesis will follow the importance of sustainable economy andsustainable finance for that reason. We are going to try and show that such an investment canhave a social and environmental impact through an impact investment, green or sustainableinvestments and create a financial return, through diversification of investments and thereduction of risk, that the future can bring. In the proposal, we crafted there was the idea ofdoing wealth management for a shipowner. But in the process while studying the bibliographyfor sustainability and the need for sustainable finance, another interest was created, because aspart of the sustainable finance, we found the need to also describe and see the role for impactand green investments. The need rose because of the sector we were are investigating, shippingcapital. Due to the relationship of shipping and the environment, and because in Greeceshipping is a large part of the Greek and the worlds’ economy as Greek-owned fleet representsthe biggest of the EU-owned fleet, as Greece remains the world’s largest shipowning nationsand because shipowners are mostly Very High Net Worth Individuals, we found that suggestingsustainable investments for a shipowner either by venture capital, private equity or investingdirectly in the stock exchange directly to sustainability companies’ stocks for example, linkingit with the need for reduction of risk using the factor of diversification in investments, we thinkit shows great potential.
