Abstract :	The causal effect of globalization on income inequality is an issue of significant academic interest. On the one hand globalization is considered to promote global economic growth and social progress, while on the other; it is blamed for growing income inequality and environmental degradation, causing social degeneration and difficulty of competition. Η αιτιώδης επίδραση της παγκοσμιοποίησης στην ανισότητα των εισοδημάτων είναι ένα ζήτημα σημαντικού ακαδημαϊκού ενδιαφέροντος. Από τη μια πλευρά, η παγκοσμιοποίηση θεωρείται ότι προωθεί την παγκόσμια οικονομική ανάπτυξη και την κοινωνική πρόοδο, ενώ από την άλλη, κατηγορείται για αυξανόμενη ανισότητα εισοδήματος και υποβάθμιση του περιβάλλοντος, προκαλώντας κοινωνικό εκφυλισμό και δυσκολίες ανταγωνισμού.

Abstract :

Η αιτιώδης επίδραση της παγκοσμιοποίησης στην ανισότητα των εισοδημάτων είναι ένα ζήτημα σημαντικού ακαδημαϊκού ενδιαφέροντος. Από τη μια πλευρά, η παγκοσμιοποίηση θεωρείται ότι προωθεί την παγκόσμια οικονομική ανάπτυξη και την κοινωνική πρόοδο, ενώ από την άλλη, κατηγορείται για αυξανόμενη ανισότητα εισοδήματος και υποβάθμιση του περιβάλλοντος, προκαλώντας κοινωνικό εκφυλισμό και δυσκολίες ανταγωνισμού.
