Abstract :	Στην παρούσα διπλωματική εργασία, διερεύνήθηκε η συμπεριφοράς των ενήλικων Αθηναίων πολιτών αναφορικά με την ανακύκλωσης όπως μας ζητήθηκε από το Υπουργείο Περιβάλλοντος & Ενέργειας. Πραγματοποιήθηκε ποιοτική έρευνα (σε βάθος συνέντευξη) κατά την οποία οι συνεντευξιαζόμενοι δήλωσαν αν ανακυκλώνουν ή όχι καθώς και τα αίτια της στάσης τους. Επίσης, ρωτήθηκαν για το κατά πόσο θεωρούν τους εαυτούς τους ενημερωμένους και απάντησαν σε ερωτήσεις γνώσεων αναφορικά με την διαδικασία της ανακύκλωσης πριν και μετά την ρίψη του ανακυκλώσιμου υλικού (τι ανακυκλώνεται, πώς ανακυκλώνεται και που καταλήγει μετά την εναπόθεση του στον μπλε κάδο). Έπειτα, εξέφρασαν την γνώμη τους αναφορικά με την στάση του Δήμου της περιοχής τους και τις προσδοκίες που έχουν από αυτόν επι του ζητήματος. Τέλος, αναφέρθηκαν τρόποι που θα τους κινητοποιούσαν να εντάξουν την ανακύκλωση στην ζωή τους. Στη συνέχεια, σύμφωνα με τα αποτελέσματα της ποιότικής έρευνας, συντάχθηκαν ολοκληρωμένα επικοινωνιακά πλάνα τα οποία αποτελούν προτάσεις σε μια συνολική στρατηγική του Υπουργείου για αύξηση των ποσοστών ανακύκλωσης στην Ελλάδα. In the present dissertation, the behavior on recycling of adult Athenian citizens was investigated as requested by the Ministry of Environment & Energy. A qualitative survey (in-depth interview) was conducted in which the interviewees stated whether or not they recycle as well as the causes of their attitude. They were also asked if they considered themselves informed and they answered questions about the recycling process before and after disposing of the recyclable material (what is recycled, how it is recycled and where it ends up after throwing it in the blue bin). Then, they expressed their opinion regarding the attitude of the Municipality of their area and the expectations they have from it on the issue. Finally, ways were mentioned that would motivate them to incorporate recycling into their lives. Then, according to the results of the qualitative research, comprehensive communication plans were created which are proposals for a greater strategy of the Ministry for increasing the recycling rates in Greece.
