Graduate studies in statistics in Greece: a statistical analysis

Abstract

The present study presents a statistical analysis based on data collected from a survey regarding the graduates from the department of statistics of Athens University of Economics and Business. It is distinguished in two parts. The first part is theoretical and concerns in the various statistical methods – some of them were used for the analysis of data. The second and the most interesting part is data from true case study. This becomes aiming at the export of useful conclusions. The data are analyzed question by question and where it is feasible they are categorized. Tables and diagrams analyze with more detail and clarity the data.
