| Abstract : | Η Ανάλυση Επιβίωσης είναι ο κλάδος της Στατιστικής Επιστήμης που μελετά και αναλύει τα δεδομένα διάρκειας ζωής. Η κλασική παραμετρική Στατιστική αλλά και η μη παραμετρική δεν μπορούν να μελετήσουν με τις μεθόδους που διαθέτουν τα δεδομένα αυτά, λόγω των ιδιαίτερων χαρακτηριστικών που εμφανίζουν.Στην Εισαγωγή γίνεται μια σύντομη αναφορά στην εξέλιξη της Ανάλυσης Επιβίωσης στις ιδιαιτερότητές της και στην χρησιμότητά της.Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζονται οι συναρτήσεις χρόνου επιβίωσης.Στα επόμενα κεφάλαια αναλύονται κάποιες από τις μεθόδους της Ανάλυσης Επιβίωσης και εφαρμόζονται οι μέθοδοι αυτές σε δεδομένα από την εκπαίδευση. Πιο συγκεκριμένα στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο εκτιμώνται οι συναρτήσεις χρόνου επιβίωσης με μη παραμετρικές μεθόδους, ενώ στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο χρησιμοποιούνται παραμετρικές μέθοδοι για την εκτίμησή τους.Στο τελευταίο κεφάλαιο δύο μέθοδοι διδασκαλίας συγκρίνονται μεταξύ τους χρησιμοποιώντας την θεωρία της Ανάλυσης Επιβίωσης.Για την επεξεργασία των δεδομένων και την παρουσίαση των γραφημάτων χρησιμοποιήθηκε το στατιστικό πακέτο MINITAB.
Survival Data Analysis is the area of Statistics that studies and analyzes survival data. The methods used by classic parametric and non-parametric Statistics are insufficient for the study of these data, because of the special properties these data have.In the Introduction, there is a short report in the evolution of Survival Data Analysis, its special characteristics and usefulness.In the second chapter the functions of survival time are introduced.In the next chapters some of the Survival Analysis methods are analyzed and these methods are applied to data derived from the educational field. In particular, in the third chapter the functions of survival time are estimated with non-parametric methods, while in the fourth chapter the estimation is achieved with parametric methods.In the last chapter two teaching methods are compared using the Survival Data Analysis theory.The statistical software MINITAB was used for the process of the data and the presentation of the charts.
