The goal of this assignment is to present the volatility of exchange rates and theirimplications for the shipping industry through a bibliographic evaluation. Thefollowing is the structure of the work: The first chapter examines the marine economy,the second chapter discusses global shipping, the third chapter describes thesignificance of shipping funding, the fourth chapter explores the importance of parityin shipping and the final chapter reviews the conclusions.
