Εντοπίστηκε ένα σφάλμα στη λειτουργία της ΠΥΞΙΔΑΣ όταν χρησιμοποιείται μέσω του προγράμματος περιήγησης Safari. Μέχρι να αποκατασταθεί το πρόβλημα, προτείνουμε τη χρήση εναλλακτικού browser όπως ο Chrome ή ο Firefox. A bug has been identified in the operation of the PYXIDA platform when accessed via the Safari browser. Until the problem is resolved, we recommend using an alternative browser such as Chrome or Firefox.

    Performance evaluation of Navios Maritime Holdings Inc. using financial ratio analysis for the time period 2009-2016

    Over the last few years the financial performance of the dry bulk shipping industry has been challenged from uncertainties about overall global economic activity and trade together with reduced demand for iron ore and coal from both China and India. The unbalanced supply-and-demand equation means too many vessels keep chasing too few shiploads. This study aims to examine Navios Maritime Holdings Inc., one of the major players in the Greek shipping industry, that through difficult times has managed to be in the 16th position between the top 100 shipping companies internationally (in 2015). This will be accomplished conducting a ratio analysis based on the published financial statements of the company along with an overview of the management policies adopted in order to conclude which are the key factors that may contribute to becoming a leading firm.
