For this purpose, a quantitative survey was conducted on a sample of 92 employees in the private sector in Greece. Data collection was performed using the Multifactor Leadership Scale and the Job Satisfaction scale. The results of the research showed that women and men supervisors exercise equally transformational and transactional leadership in the workplace. Furthermore, result shows that women leaders are just as effective in adopting effective forms of leadership. Finally, it was confirmed that women leaders are just as capable as men in securing a satisfied workforce. In conclusion, in modern times it is concluded that leaders should be evaluated according to their abilities and not according to their gender.
