The results of the survey confirm that the image of the political leader significantly influences the electoral behavior of a voter in conjunction with the other psychological and sociological variables of the theoretical model used (Theory of Programmed Behavior), resulting in that the independent variables explain 78.2% of the variance of the dependent variable (intention to vote for a political party). The doctoral dissertation and its results contribute both to the empirical application of political marketing in the context of the academic research, that is still in its infancy, and to the creation of a new prediction model of voting in Greek reality.
