Δράσεις ΕΚΕ, ως πυλώνας εταιρικής στρατηγικής διακυβέρνησης, για βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη

Abstract

Οι έννοιες της εταιρικής διακυβέρνησης, της εταιρικής κοινωνικής ευθύνης και της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης για τις επιχειρήσεις τη σύγχρονη εποχή είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικές. Η εταιρική διακυβέρνηση σχετίζεται με τους τρόπους που πραγματοποιείται η χρηματοδότηση ώστε οι επενδυτές να διαθέτουν τα κατάλληλα κεφάλαια, εξασφαλίζοντας μία ανταποδοτική αμοιβή από τις επενδύσεις. Οι επιχειρήσεις για να προσελκύουν επενδυτές και πελάτες πρέπει να ακολουθούν κανόνες και να παρουσιάζουν διαφάνεια ως προς την οικονομική τους διαχείριση. Από την άλλη η Εταιρική διακυβέρνηση είναι μία έννοια η οποία αφενός υποχρεώνει τις επιχειρήσεις να διατηρούν ισορροπημένη τη σχέση κέρδους και υγιούς ανάπτυξης με υπεύθυνη στάση προς τα ενδιαφερόμενα μέρη. Οι κύριοι στόχοι της βιώσιμης ανάπτυξης εδράζονται στο τρίπτυχο ισόρροπης ανάπτυξης των αξόνων οικονομία-κοινωνία-περιβάλλον με τελικό σκοπό την βελτίωση του βιοτικού επιπέδου.Για τον λόγο αυτό κρίνεται απαραίτητο να αναλυθεί πως αυτές σχετίζονται μεταξύ τους, ιδιαίτερα στο ελληνικό επιχειρηματικό περιβάλλον. Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι η ανάλυση των δράσεων ΕΚΕ με στόχο τη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη, ως τμήμα της εταιρικής στρατηγικής διακυβέρνησης των επιχειρήσεων, και ο τρόπος που βρίσκουν εφαρμογή στο ελληνικό επιχειρηματικό περιβάλλον.Τα συμπεράσματα από την ανάλυση είναι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικά. H εταιρική διακυβέρνηση συνδυάζεται με την εταιρική κοινωνική ευθύνη και σχετίζεται με ένα ευρύ φάσμα επιχειρηματικών δραστηριοτήτων, ιδιαίτερα με τις δράσεις ΕΚΕ που αφορούν το περιβάλλον και την βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη. Παρά όμως την ανάπτυξη του αντίστοιχου νομοθετικού πλαισίου στην Ελλάδα, παρατηρείται ότι αντίστοιχες δράσεις υλοποιούνται κατά κύριο λόγο από μεγάλες επιχειρήσεις, ενώ οι μικρομεσαίες που αποτελούν τη ραχοκοκαλιά την εθνικής οικονομίας, απουσιάζουν από την εφαρμογή τέτοιων πολιτικών. Αυτό έχει ως αποτέλεσμα να υστερεί η χώρα από τον ευρωπαϊκό μέσο όρο και να απαιτείται σημαντικά βήματα να γίνουν στο πεδίο αυτό στο άμεσο μέλλον, ώστε να επιτευχθούν μακροπρόθεσμα αποτελέσματα ισόρροπης ανάπτυξης οικονομίας-κοινωνίας-περιβάλλοντος.

The concepts of corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development for businesses in the modern era are particularly important. Corporate governance is related to the ways in which financing is carried out, so that investors have the appropriate capital, ensuring a remunerative return on investment. In order to attract investors and customers, businesses must follow rules and be transparent about their financial management. On the other hand, Corporate governance is a concept which, on the one hand, obliges companies to maintain a balanced relationship of profit, healthy development, with a responsible attitude towards the interested parties. The main objectives of sustainable development are based on the tripartite balanced development of the axes economy-society-environment with the ultimate aim of improving the standard of living.For this reason, it is considered necessary to analyze how they relate to each other, especially in the Greek business environment. The purpose of this paper is the analysis of CSR actions, with the aim of sustainable development, as part of the corporate governance strategy of businesses, and the way they are applied in the Greek business environment.The conclusions from the analysis are particularly important. Corporate governance is combined with corporate social responsibility and is related to a wide range of business activities, especially CSR actions related to the environment and sustainable development. However, despite the development of the corresponding legislative framework in Greece, it is observed that corresponding actions are mainly implemented by large companies, while the small and medium-sized enterprises, which form the backbone of the national economy, are absent from the implementation of such policies. This results in the country lagging behind the European average and requiring significant steps to be taken in this field in the immediate future, in order to achieve long-term results of balanced economic-societal-environmental development.
