The impact of the "Open Market Reform" on China's economy

Abstract

In this thesis, I use microeconomic and macroeconomic methods to analyze the impact of the economic reform on China's economy. To begin with, I explore the reason why China decided to transform from Central Planning to Market Economy. Then, I collect data and analyze the economic achievements that China has made over 40 years. In Chapter 3, I analyze the structural change inside the Chinese economy and in Chapter 4, I focus on the market liberalization, analyzing the price liberalization, FDI, privatization of SOEs and monopoly.

Στην εργασία αυτή, χρησιμοποιώ μέθοδο μακροοικονομιή και μικροοικονομική να αναλύσω την επίδραση της απελευθέρωσης των αγορών στην Κινεζική οικονομία. Η εργασία χωρίζεται κυρίως σε τρία μέρη. Το πρώτο μέρος είναι για τα επιτεύγματα που κατέφερε η Κίνα σε 40 χρόνια. Το δεύτερο μέρος είναι για την εξέλιξη της Κινεζικής οικονομίας μέσα της. Το τρίτο μέρος είναι για την απελευθέρωση των αγορών, εστιάζοντας σε FDI και μονοπώλιο.
